Constantly blaming oneself
This happens all throughout the novel. Elizabeth and Victor are constantly blaming themselves for the death of Justine Moritz.
People don't want to be associated with someone who commits a terrible crime
Around Chapter 7 or 8, Justine Moritz was accused of murdering William Frankenstein. Even if people felt bad for her, they didn't want to get involved in whatever problem she had.
Victor Frankenstein understands if word gets out about him being the creator of the monster, he knows everyone will turn against him.

Revenge
This is a common theme that everyone should know. By reading the novel, the reader should understand that both the Monster and Frankenstein are seeking revenge.
The Monster loathes Frankenstein and wants revenge because he was not loved and given attention to. Also, Frankenstein had promised to make a female creature for the monster. Halfway through, he got rid of it, and that ticked off the monster. (As a result, the monster murdered Elizabeth.)
Frankenstein wants revenge on the Monster because his brother was killed by the monster, and shortly after, Justine Moritz. The monster has given him lots of stress and worry.
